Queer at Sea!

as part of my Develop Your Creative Practice funding from Arts Council England, from February - July 2026, i am working with a group of 8 LGBTQIA+ adults in Portsmouth, through free bi-monthly ‘workshops’ and ‘socials’.

Queer at Sea! is a series of monthly gatherings exploring our queer connections to the Sea & Coast - through shared creative experiences - delving into queer history & ecology, neuroqueer & embodied explorations of place, materials experimentations and processes, memory & imagination.

to celebrate our connections and shared learning from this project, it will culminate in an informal sharing event. this will include sharing things we have made or explored throughout the sessions, in a context we create together.
